Biography

From the official athletics bio

2010: Limited varsity playing time as a freshman with the Thunder.

2011: Appeared in seven games, tallying 15 tackles, two for loss, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble…recorded a sack and two tackles at Carthage…made a career-high six tackles, including half a sack, and a forced fumble versus Elmhurst.

2012: Played in all ten games for the Thunder, making 35 stops, 5.5 for loss, three sacks and forcing two fumbles...tied career high with six tackles including a sack and forced a fumble in 49-7 win at Augustana on Sept. 29...had five tackles, one for loss, in 38-33 win over Illinois Wesleyan on Oct. 20.

2013: CCIW All-Confrence Second Team...had 50 tackles and a forced fumble on the year... had six tackles and a forced fumble against Augustana on Oct. 5.

High school: A four-year varsity starter...All-State RB as a junior and All-State at LB as a senior...Academic All-State...All-League three times...All-County Dream Team twice...team won a State Title in 2007 and three league and district titles...also wrestled, reaching the State Championship match with a record of 59-0 as a senior...President of National Honor Society...named the Scholar-Athlete of his senior class.
