The Scott Era 2021–2025

Jesse Scott took the job into a canceled season — the 2020 schedule was lost to the COVID-19 pandemic — and has not had a losing year since play resumed. Five seasons, five winning records, four NCAA playoff appearances, and a winning percentage that sits within a point of Swider's across a much shorter sample.

Scott's first team went 10–2 in 2021 and reached the playoffs; 2023 matched it. The 2024 side went 9–2 and won the Culver's Isthmus Bowl. In 2025 Wheaton went 11–3 and returned to the national bracket for the fourth time in five years. The conference title has not come yet — that is the one line on the era's page still waiting to be filled — but no Wheaton coach has ever started this well.
