Stefan Knoerr named the CCIW Special Teams Player of the Week

Wheaton, Ill. - Junior kicker Stefan Knoerr was named this week's College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Special Teams Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday afternoon. Knoerr is Wheaton's fifth CCIW Player of the Week honoree in the 2016 season.

In Saturday night's 60-7 victory at home against North Park, Knoerr kicked three field goals and he converted six PAT kicks. He nailed a a 34-yard field goal in the second quarter to give Wheaton a 19-7 lead as the two teams went into the lockerrooms at halftime.
