Thunder senior Logan McRae named to the D3football.com Team of the Week

Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College senior Logan McRae has been named to this week's D3football.com Team of the Week for his effort in Wheaton's 17-9 victory at North Central on Saturday. This is the second consecutive week that Wheaton has had a selection on the D3football.com Team of the Week as the Thunder offensive line earned the recognition following a victory against Millikin on October 17.

McRae was a critical part of Wheaton's outstanding defensive effort in last Saturday's win at North Central. The senior made seven total tackles last Saturday in Naperville, including six solo stops. He recorded both of Wheaton's quarterback sacks (-11 yards) in the victory against the Cardinals as part of his 2-1/2 tackles for lost yardage pf -11 yards.

McRae has 33 total tackles this season, including 22 solos. His 7-1/2 sacks (-48 yards) this leads the CCIW and is ranked 17th in Division III. The senior has registered 11-1/2 tackles for lost yardage (-55) on the year, the best mark in the league and is ranked 38th in Division III in the category.

The Thunder, ranked fifth in Division III in this week's AFCA Top-25 poll and eighth in the D3football.com Top-25, will host Elmhurst College on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
