Jordan Roberts, Pat Dansdill named CCIW Players of the Week

Wheaton, Ill.- Wheaton College seniors Jordan Roberts and linebacker Pat Dansdill have been named the CCIW Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for football, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Wheaton College seniors Jordan Roberts and linebacker Pat Dansdill have been named the CCIW Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for football, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Quarterback Jordan Roberts was named the Offensive Player of the Week after competing 32 of 46 passes for 380 yards and two touchdowns. Roberts also carried 13 times for 46 yards and two more touchdowns in Wheaton's 35-21 victory over North Central on Saturday. Roberts accounted for 89% of Wheaton 480 yards offensively and played a part in all four of their offensive touchdowns.

Linebacker Pat Dansdill was named the Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Dansdill tied a career high with 10 solo tackles and set a career high with 14 tackles. Dansdill also recorded a sack and recovered a fumble that he returned 72 yards for a touchdown that gave Wheaton a 35-14 lead late in the game. Dansdill helped lead a defense that held North Central to just 108 rushing yards in Wheaton's 35-21 victory. Dansdill was also named to D3Football.com's Team of the Week.Print Friendly Version
