Mike Swider to join CCIW football coaches in preseason online conference chat

Wheaton, Ill. - For the fifth consecutive year, the CCIW will conduct a live online chat with its eight head football coaches. This year the chat will be held in two sessions on Wednesday August 7. Thunder head coach Mike Swider will take part in the second session from 11:05-11:35 AM.

Joining Swider in the half hour session will be: Millikin's Patrick Etherton, North Central's John Thorne and North Park's Mike Conway. The opening session on Wednesday from 10:30-11 AM will feature: Augustana's Rob Cushman, Carthage's Mike Yeager, Elmhurst's Joe Adam and Illinois Wesleyan's Norm Eash.

Before the chat, the CCIW will announce the results of the 2013 Preseason Coaches' Poll.

The online chat will be conducted by CCIW Assistant Commissioner/Sports Information Director Mike Krizman and all questions will be screened before they are presented to the coaches. The coaches will try to answer as many questions from the audience as possible.
