Garrett Meador named CCIW Offensive Football Player of the Week for third time

Wheaton, Ill. - For the third time this season, Wheaton College quarterback Garrett Meador was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Offensive Football Player of the Week on Monday.

Meador, a senior, finished 26-of-36 passing for 368 yards and five touchdown tosses during Wheaton's 36-7 win over Augustana College on Saturday. Meador had a 72 percent completion percentage and it marked the fourth-straight game in which he has thrown for 300 yards or more.

So far this year, Meador has completed 66.2 percent of his throws for 277.5 yards per game. He also has 23 touchdown passes versus five interceptions. Meador also leads the CCIW in passing yards, completion percentage and touchdowns.Print Friendly Version
