Scott Roche, Tyler Langs earn spot on D3Football.com Team of the Week

Wheaton, Ill. - After earning distinction as CCIW Players of the Week, Wheaton College football players Scott Roche and Tyler Langs also made this week's D3Football.com Team of the Week.
Roche, a junior kicker, made four field goals in Wheaton's win over Augustana. He was four-for-four on the day, including a 25-yarder in the first quarter. In the second quarter, he kicked a career-long and school-record 52-yard boot and also converted a 42-yard field goal as time expired to end the first half. His fourth field goal was a 32-yarder with 7:22 remaining in the fourth quarter to cut Augustana's lead to 14-12.
Roche has converted 13 of 20 field goals so far this year and is ranked top 10 in the country with 1.6 field goals per game.
Langs, a senior cornerback, intercepted three Augustana passes on Saturday in Wheaton's 20-14 victory against the Vikings. Langs' three interceptions were returned for a total of 102 yards. He also led the Thunder with a team-high eight total tackles, all solo stops. He deflected an Augustana pass on fourth down in the end zone the closing seconds to stop the Vikings' final offensive play of the game and clinch the victory.
So far this season, Langs leads the Thunder with six interceptions returned for 175 yards. He also has a team-high nine pass breakups with 38 total tackles and three tackles for a loss. The senior is part of a defense that has intercepted 19 passes on the year.
