UPDATED: Weekend weather changes upcoming football, cross country & women's soccer contests

Wheaton, Ill. - Warm and humid weather in this weekend's forecast is forcing changes to the many events scheduled for Thunder teams. As football, cross country and women's soccer have all been impacted.

The Thunder men's and women's cross country teams will no longer race in today's North Central Invitational at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville.

The start times for Friday's matches at the Bob Baptista Invitational, hosted by the Wheaton Thunder women's soccer team are being pushed back. Friday's opening game between Dominican and Greenville will now start at 5:30 p.m., followed by Wheaton hosting Aurora University at 8:00 p.m. Saturday's games between Aurora and Greenville; and Wheaton and Dominican are still scheduled for 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Kickoff for Saturday's football matchup between fifth-ranked Wheaton and third-ranked Mount Union is now scheduled for 12:00 p.m. (CDT) at McCully Stadium. The game was originally scheduled as a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
