Thunder football to head to Whitewater, Wisconsin on Saturday for the Second Round of the NCAA D3 Football Playoffs

Wheaton, Ill. - The 10th-ranked Wheaton football team advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Football Playoffs last Saturday with a 41-34 victory at home against Mount St. Joseph University. This Saturday the Thunder will travel to Whitewater, Wisconsin for the second round game against the fifth-ranked Warhawks of UW-Whitewater.
Saturday's game will kickoff at noon (CST) at Perkins Stadium on the campus of UW-Whitewater. Tickets will be available on game day and in advance. Advance tickets can be purchased at this link. Parking at Perkins stadium is cashless and fans advised to pay for parking in advance at this link.

Wheaton and UW-Whitewater have met once before in the NCAA Division III Playoffs. The Warhawks defeated the Thunder 31-17 in the Second Round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs at McCully Stadium. The two programs have met four times in total as UW-Whitewater holds a 4-0 advantage in the all-time series. The three meetings prior to the 2015 contest occurred in 1935, 1936, and 1937.
