Caleb Grotelueschen named a CCIW Football Student-Athlete of the Week

Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton's Caleb Grotelueschen was named a CCIW Football Student-Athlete of the Week on Monday, winning the conference's weekly recognition on special teams. This is the first career CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week award for the senior.
Grotelueschen tallied a team-high 165 all-purpose yards in Wheaton's 69-20 victory over Carthage last Saturday. He returned three kickoffs for 116 yards (38.6 yard average) including a 44-yard return to open the second half. He also returned four punts for 49 yards, averaging 12.3 yards per return, including a long of 20 yards.
Grotelueschen and the sixth-ranked Thunder travel to Elmhurst University on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff against the Bluejays.
