The Thunder football team finishes the 2018 campaign ranked in the D3football.com Top-25

Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton football team is ranked in the final D3football.com Top-25 poll of the 2018 season. The Thunder finished the season ranked 23rd in the the D3football.com Top-25 The recognition marks the 12th time in the 16 year-history of the D3football.com Top-25 poll that Wheaton has finished a season in the ranking.

Wheaton posted an 8-2 record in 2018. Senior linebacker Eric Stevenson, the 2018 CCIW Defensive Player of the Year, was a unanimous First Team All-American (AFCA, D3football.com and Associated Press). Stevenson and Corey Kennedy were both honored as Google Cloud Academic All-Americans for their work on the field and in the classroom.
